Take your time to explore the breathtaking Abatan River with us, where you’ll kayak beneath a starlit sky and dance with fireflies. Our professional kayak guides know this river like their home, navigating through a maze of channels with a calm, serene flow. Discover watery plains of nipa palms, mangrove tunnels, and hidden flooded forests throughout the afternoon.

As evening falls, witness the magical dance of synchronous fireflies, a rare and endemic species unique to the Philippines. Our firefly watching trail begins after a brief rest and snack following our afternoon exploration.

We offer convenient pick-up services from your accommodation in major areas like Panglao, Tagbilaran, or Loboc. The transfer to our river station is just a one-hour drive from Panglao or Loboc, and only 15 minutes from Tagbilaran City.

At the river station, we’ll start with a safety briefing and basic kayaking lesson. After an exhilarating night of kayaking, enjoy a delicious home-cooked Filipino dinner made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
