Arrive in Coron & buy personal supplies (if needed) for the next 2 nights camping. We shall meet at 3PM for kayak fitting, familiarize, adjust, or check kayak gear & equipment. Paddle check is optional but highly advised. We will end the day with a trip briefing and welcome dinner.

QUICK FACTS : Coron Town is small and the majority of its shops for general grocery needs are within the town centre and can be easily accessed on foot or tricycle (tuktuk). The shops do offer limited choices. Book your accommodation around town, we can give recommendations should you need.

DAY 01 – OLD TOWNS

ACCOMMODATION :WEST BEACH CAMP

MEALS : B / L / D

Meet up time in the front lobby of your hotel is 730am after your breakfast. Be in your kayaking clothes already and will go to the kayak station - our starting point for this 3-day expedition. We will bring only bags we need for kayaking. Any luggage you want to store and need after the trip, please pack separately and we will handle the storing for you - free. Once all gears and equipment are set, we will start our 18km paddle with a short crossing to Coron Island. The island is special to the Tagbanua Tribe and certain areas are off limits to visitors as the tribe consider the island holy. Our beach camps are carefully selected and with knowledge to contacts within the tribe. The entire island of Coron is considered a tribal domain, they set the rules and laws within.

PADDLE DISTANCE : 18k – 23k (distance vary due to 2 camping beach option – this means if we paddle shorter on this day, a longer paddle will be on the next day)

DAY 02 – KALIS PT.

ACCOMMODATION :EAST CAMP

MEALS : B / L / D

830AM paddle start. On this day we will be paddling around the southern tip of Coron Island. This is where we will see some of the more impressive karst seascape and a gigantic lagoon. We’ve explored this remote point in Coron Island multiple times and it still continues to amaze even us. Tribes do live here and we have made arrangements and contacts for the purpose of our safety and refuge should we encounter undesirable weather and water conditions in this remote location. We will spend our morning paddling around the point. If time permits, we can hike abit to find hidden lakes. Our next camp will be on a beach shared by a family of the Tagbanua Tribe. Someone who we know so very well and worked with multiple times – they also will make us their traditional way of roasting to brewing coffee in the morning should we indulge.

PADDLE DISTANCE : 14k

DAY 03 – LAGOONS

ACCOMMODATION :

TOWN HOTEL (OWN)

MEALS : B / L / D

830AM paddle start. This is our final day out in Coron Island. In the morning we will continue our northward bound paddle until we reach the busy and touristy coasts. This means we are nearing the end point of our exploration. After lunch time we paddle on our way back to Bali Beach in Coron Town*. Sea kayaking gives you the ultimate Coron Island experience. We offer this to truly immerse into the Tagbanua Tribe’s special island. This will take you into its remote corners barely reached by tourism and we will meet friendly tribal families that continue to live close to their ancient traditions. There is more to this island than the usual tour boat offerings that is why we insist on sea kayaking to take in more of the secrets the coasts of Coron Island opens for us and our paddles.

QUICK FACTS : Coron Town and Coron Is. are 2 different locations. Coron Town is in the main island of Busuanga, while 2kms south of it is Coron Is. – a tribal ancestral domain.
